It varies! Some cats find homes quickly (a few weeks), while others may need longer stays (a couple of months). We try to match fosters with a timeframe that works for them.
Foster placements are a team decision between our Rescue Team and the Foster. We carefully match cats with fosters based on the cat’s needs, the foster’s experience, and their home environment. While we take your preferences into account, our main priority is ensuring the best possible fit for both the foster and the cat.
It happens all the time! We call it a "foster fall in love" moment. If you decide you can’t part with your foster cat, you’ll have the first opportunity to adopt them. But if you can’t adopt, remember that fostering saves more lives by opening up space for another rescue in need.
No problem! Just let us know in advance, and we’ll arrange another placement for your foster cat.
